5 Operating the pump controller

5.6.5.2 Checking the Modbus RTU parameters
The Modbus RTU is a field bus that enables communication between the pump
controller and the frequency converter for a pump.
The devices can only communicate with each other if the parameter values for
parity, stop bits and baud rate that are set on the pump controller match the pa-
rameter values that are set on the frequency converter. Therefore, the parameter
values must be checked before commissioning the pump controller.

The settings are pre-configured by the manufacturer.

Check that the settings are correct before commissioning for
the first time.

