The power supply for the actuators (Fig. 12/6) is separated from the power
supply for the sensors and the logic (Fig. 12/7) by a galvanic separation level
(Fig. 12/3). The actuators can therefore be supplied by a separate power sup-
ply without impairing the logic or sensors if the required power is higher.

Ensure that the maximum permissible supply currents for the pump controller
and the I/O modules installed on the pump controller are not exceeded.
Fuses that conform with UL must be used to safeguard the sensor power supply.

To safeguard the sensor power supply, use fuses that conform with UL for a
maximum rated current of 4 A with a characteristic that trips in less than 120
seconds in the event of an overcurrent of 6.4 A.
There are no special specifications for selecting the fuses to safeguard the actuator
power supply. The following applies to the actuator power supply:

Ensure that the maximum permissible rated current of 14 A is not exceeded.
