9b Latch and Keeper for No-Site Inswing Doors
Local codes vary from state to state. Check your local
codes before installing the coat hook and door pulls.

Line up the top of the keeper with the mark on the pilaster .
Using the keeper as a template, drill Ø
⁷⁄₃₂
" x ¾"(19mm)
deep holes into the pilaster . It is not necessary to remove
the keeper before drilling. Secure the keeper to the pilaster
using hardware provided .
E
For 32"-26" ADA doors, measure 5½" from the latched side
of the door and 25¾" down from the top of the door . Drill
a Ø ¼" hole through the face of the door . Drill an identical
hole, 3½" below the hole just drilled. Install one door pull to
each side of the door with the hardware provided .

Using the latch mounting holes as a template, drill a Ø
⁷⁄₃₂

pilot hole into the door, ¾" (19mm)deep. Secure the latch to
the door using hardware provided .

With the door in the closed position, mount the latch on
the inside of the door so that the center of the slide bar
is 27½" (699mm) from the top of the door. The leading
edge of the latch should be positioned approximately
³⁄₈
" (10mm) from the door edge "lip." If stainless steel
hardware is used, this distance should be 1
¹⁄₈
" (29mm).

Repeat steps A-F for remaining doors .

The measurement from the top of the door to the top of the
keeper is 27

pilaster, opposite the hinged side of the door . The leading
edge of the keeper should be lined up with the edge of the
pilaster notch (approximately
