Using the Tuner/Expression pedal

Changing the reference
pitch of the tuner
* The reference pitch of the tuner is shared with the DR-
880’s master tune setting (p. 120).
1.
In the pattern or song play screen, press
[EDIT]
The edit menu screen appears.
2.
Move the cursor to the “MASTER TUNE”
icon, and press [ENTER].
The master tune setting screen appears.

Use the VALUE dial to adjust the setting.
Range: 435 Hz–445 Hz
4.
When you’ve made the setting, press
[EXIT].
The message “Now writing...” will appear,
and the currently settings will be saved.
When the currently settings have been saved,
the message will disappear.
* Do not turn off the power while the message is displayed.
Your data may be damaged if you do so.
Using an expression pedal
as a volume pedal
When you connect an expression pedal (such as
the Roland EV-5; sold separately) to the rear
panel’s CTL 3, 4/EXP PEDAL jack, you will be
able to control the volume of your guitar/bass
that is connected to the GUITAR/BASS INPUT
jack using your feet.

Use only the specified expression pedal (EV-
5; sold separately). By connecting any other
expression pedals, you risk causing
malfunction and/or damage to the unit.
●
Both the Roland EV-5 have a minimum
volume setting of 0.
If you’ve selected an effect patch that uses pedal wah
(P-WAH: p. 94), the expression pedal will automatically
function as a wah pedal.
