11.2.2 Graphical
evaluation
i
The two graphic displays show the deviations from a
theoretical round circle.
Display: Cross section
Display: Developed view of circumference
<
r
> displays further details of the results of the
true-running measurements for the wheel, rim and
tire.

Storing measured values
i
The current measured values can be stored and as-
signed to an axle after every measurement. The axles
already stored are only displayed in the status bar if
the storage program has been selected.
1.
Start the storage program with <
r
> (6 x) and <
OK
>.
2.
Assign the measurement results to the axle and the
time of measurement (before or after radial run-out
minimization).

11.4
Radial run-out minimization
i
If a message recommending turning the tire on the
rim appears on the monitor, the radial run-out can be
minimized as follows:
1.
Start the Match program with <
r
> (4 x) and <
OK
>.
2.
Turn the wheel until the valve is in the 12 o'clock
position.
3.
Press <
OK
>.
The reference position is stored.
The WBE 4510 automatically turns the wheel to
the point at which the tire has to be marked.
4.
Make the reference mark on the tire.
5.
Detach the wheel from the flange.
6.
Turn the tire on the rim through 180 degrees.
i
The mark previously made provides a guide.
i
<
r
> provides further information on the eccentricity
of the wheel.
7.
Secure the wheel.
8.
Perform reference measurement.
