9.5.2 Checking the direction of rotation of the electric motor/the pump

Look at the arrow indicating the direction of rotation on the motor-pump group.

Operate the "ON" switch at the control box of the hydraulic power unit and
immediately afterwards the "OFF" switch.

Observe the direction of rotation at the stopping fan wheel (electric motor).

Compare the direction of rotation with the arrow indicating the direction
of rotation.
Direction of rotation contrary to the arrow indicating the direction of rotation:

Disconnect the cable connector of the hydraulic power unit from the
control box.

Inform a specialized electrician.
Direction of rotation at the motor corresponds to the arrow indicating the direction
of rotation:
The result is ok, the test is completed.
9.5.3 Checking the pump circulation
For the functional tests of the hydraulic power unit (pump delivers oil), you need
 a "measuring glass" and

"hose lines"
from the "WS290 training system" device program.
Alternatively, you have got the possibility to carry out a circulation test using
a pressure gauge (in this connection see chapter 9.5.6.1 "Pressure test of the
zero stroke control with a constant pressure system").
NOTICE
Danger of malfunction of the hydraulic pump due to wrong direction of rotation of
the drive motor!
Damage to property!

In the first commissioning, the direction of rotation of the drive motor is to be
checked by a specialized electrician.
