Set-up, installation and commissioning

Check the correct and sufficient electrical fuse protection and consider an
increased current consumption upon motor start-up.

Connect the mains plug at the connection cable of the control box to the
socket (230 V/400 V) on the customer side.
The power supply of the WS290 training system is established.
9.5 Checking the functions
9.5.1 Checking the EMERGENCY OFF circuit

The power supply and installation have been properly completed.
 Hydraulic power unit is filled and ready for operation.

It is ensured that the EMERGENCY OFF pushbutton is within reach.

Where appropriate, unlock the EMERGENCY OFF pushbutton.

Operate the "ON" switch at the control box of the hydraulic power unit.

Operate the "START" switch at the control box of the WS290 training system.
The pump drive motor starts up.

Operate the EMERGENCY OFF pushbutton.

The pump drive motor keeps on running. There is a faulty installation or
a defective EMERGENCY OFF pushbutton.
Proceed as follows:

Immediately switch off the system and the pump motor and stop them.

Inform a specialized electrician.
2 The pump drive motor is switched off; the power supply (230 V sockets) of the
power supply units is also interrupted. The EMERGENCY OFF circuit is ok.
Proceed as follows:

Also carry out the test for the second EMERGENCY OFF pushbutton.
If this EMERGENCY OFF circuit is also ok, the training system is safe and
ready for operation.
