Set-up, installation and commissioning
In order to bleed the system, the pump must displace medium in circulation for
10 minutes. After the circulation, the oil level is to be checked.
Information on the LS control block:
In order to bleed the system, the pump must displace medium in circulation
operation for 10 minutes. So that the hydraulic power unit can be bled, port P1
is to be short-circuited with port T1 by connection with a hose. Apart from that,
the 3/2-way ball valve has to be connected in operating position.
9.4 Electric installation
For the installation of the WS290 it is assumed that
 the WS290 training system is properly set up (see chapter 9.1 "Setting the
WS290 training system up") and completed,
 the hydraulic supply and the oil filling of the WS290 training system have
been completed,
 the correct connection voltage and fuse protection are available at the power
supply provided on the customer side,
 no cables are damaged,

the connection cable is laid in a way that it cannot be crushed, rolled over, bent,
tensioned or concealed,

works at the electric equipment of the training system have only been
performed by a specialized electrician.
How the hydraulic power unit is installed:

Check whether the coded connector for the power supply of the hydraulic
power unit is plugged in at the control box.
The protective motor switch must still be in "Off" position = "0". If this is not the
case, set the switch to "0" and plug the connector in.

Check whether the connector of the 24 V power supply unit is plugged into the
multiple socket of the control box. If this is not the case, plug the connector in.

Check the mains plug at the connection cable of the control box and the
socket (230 V/400 V) on the customer side for correct design.

Check the socket (230 V/400 V) on the customer side for correct mains power
supply and proper direction of rotation of the phases.

Unwanted start-up, incorrect movements and late switch-off of the
hydraulic pump!
Risk of damage!

Ensure that in case of connection without FI switch (only optional), the shut-
off function works properly (e. g. by means of regular tests according
to BGV A3).

The fixed connection of the mains plug may only be established if all works
described have been properly completed.

When setting up exercise set-ups ensure that the EMERGENCY OFF
switches can be easily reached.
