Operation
General information
This chapter describes functions that are oper‐
ated in a different way to the way they are oper‐
ated in the front, or are only available in the rear.
Audio CD
General information
Operating the audio CD in the rear is analog to
operating the audio CD in front.

Route planning can be performed separately on
both screens in the rear. Destination guidance
can only be started from the front.
Suggesting a destination
A destination or trip can be sent to the front as a
suggestion. The suggestion can be adopted or
declined in the front. This function is not availa‐
ble with the following setting: "Operation
limited".
1. Enter the destination.
2. "Suggest destination"
Video DVD
General information
Operating the video DVD in the rear is analog to
operating the video DVD in front.

Touch video remote control
DVD menu items and settings can be selected
via touch function.
A digital remote control is displayed when tap‐
ping on the screen in the rear during the DVD
playback.
If no selection is made within approximately
8 seconds, the digital remote control will be hid‐
den again.
