work loose

Always have the security of
the fasteners checked by a
specialist workshop, preferably
an authorised BMW Motorrad
dealer.

Lubricate the gearing of the
output shaft.

Lubricant

Staburags NBU 30 PTM

Do not apply lubricant to the
thread of the output shaft.

Push rear wheel

onto the

output shaft and rotate until it
engages with the gearing.
Install spacer bush

Thread rear wheel swinging
arm

with cable

for wheel

speed sensor and brake
hose

back into position.

Position the rear wheel
swinging arm

, making

sure that the cable

for the

wheel speed sensor is routed
correctly.
