Block the rear wheel brake with
a rubber band.
The rear wheel cannot turn.
Carefully lever up lid

move.
Remove nut

and spacer

bush

Remove rubber band from rear
wheel brake.

Remove screws

Lift rear-wheel cover

.

Release brake line from hold-
ers

.

Remove bolt

and release

holder for brake line

.

Press the brake caliper

against the brake disc.
The brake piston is pressed
back.
Remove screws

.

Pull brake caliper

up and off

the brake disc and hang to the
side.

Loosen the nut

of the upper

spring strut bolted connection
while holding bolt

in place

with an offset screwdriver.
