Front Burner Securing Screws

Cook Top Open Burners - Removal

1.  Turn ‘OFF’ gas supply at main supply.
2.  Remove pot stands from top of cook top.
3.  Remove burner caps and burner bowls from top of

burner venturi, these are a loose fit to the burner
venturi, (See Fig 1), taking care not to damage
thermocouples fitted through splash guards.

4. Remove the splash guard covering the burner

venturi’s by unscrewing the two allan headed cap
screws. (4mm) (See Fig 2).

5. Carefully remove the splash guard taking care not to

damage the thermocouples protruding through the
splash guard.

6. Remove all the gas control knobs from the front of

the control panel. These are a push fit onto the gas
control valve shaft.

7. Unscrew the securing screws and remove the front

control panel.

8. Disconnect the 2 gas valves (See Fig 3) from the gas

manifold.

9. Unscrew the 2 securing screws at the rear (See Fig

4) and 2 screws at the front of the cook top open
burner module, (See Fig 5) and carefully remove the
burner module from the cook top.
