General Instructions
Torque to 325 ft. / lbs.
Torque to 325 ft. / lbs.
Bolt, hardened flatwasher and locknut must be in position.
Inspect by using a pry bar to apply pressure to the spring pin and bushing.
8 Fittings. Lubricate at first 1,000 miles and then at regular intervals.
Use NLGI grade No. 2 Grease. See key No.1 page 86.
Inspect all spring components for damage or misalignment.
Inspect for leaks.
Torque to 80 +/- 5 ft. lbs.
Torque to 350-375 ft. lbs.
Torque to 600-625 ft. lbs.
Torque to 100-125 ft. lbs.
1/2" Torque to 30-35 ft. lbs. 3/4" Torque to 30-35 ft. lbs.
Inspect for leaks.
4.875 inches between bottom of frame rail and top of axle.
Torque to 260-280 ft. lbs.
Torque to 460-480 ft. lbs.
Torque to 100-125 ft. lbs.
1/2" Torque to 30-35 ft. lbs. 3/4" Torque to 30-35 ft. lbs.
Inspect for leaks.
9.25 inches from top of axle pad to bottom of frame rail.
