BlackBerry Enterprise Server version Option

You can run the CreateDB executable that is included with the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP3 installation files

For more information about using the setup application to remove the
BlackBerry MDS Integration Service, see "Adding or removing BlackBerry
Enterprise Server components" in the BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP1
Installation and Configuration Guide.

5.0 SP2

You can choose one of the following options to remove the BlackBerry MDS
Integration Service:
•

You can perform the following actions:
a. Run setup.exe from the BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP2

installation files and clear the check box for the BlackBerry MDS
Integration Service

b. Install BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP2 MR2 or later
c.

After you finish, you must remove the BlackBerry MDS Integration
Service component information from the BlackBerry
Configuration Database using the BlackBerry Administration
Service

d. If you installed BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP2 MR3, you

must restart the BlackBerry Administration Service

You can run the CreateDB executable that is included with the
BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP3 installation files
