You can »park« the call for around 2 mi nu tes, un plug the te le pho ne from the ISDN con nec ti on and then plug it back
in at the in ter nal ISDN port in the ot her room. Af ter you un park the call you can continue with your conversation.

Data packet transfer (X.31)
You can con nect a da ta ter mi nal that ope ra tes in com pli an ce with the X. 31 trans mis si on stan dard (da ta trans fer in D
chan nel) to the in ter nal ISDN con nec ti on of your PABX. For ex am ple a cash re gis ter ter mi nal for elec tro nic pay ment
with ec ban king cards, cre dit cards, ATM cards or cus to mer cards.
You must ma ke spe ci al set tings in the Pro fes sio nal Con fi gu ra tor for the PABX sys tem in order to use these types of
terminals.
You can on ly use this fea tu re if the fea tu re »X. 31« is ac ti vat ed for your con nec ti on and if it is sup por ted by the ISDN
ter mi nal de vi ces. Plea se re fer to the ope ra ting in struc tions for the ter mi nal devices involved.
Protection of data link
You are in the middle of sen ding out se ve ral fax mes sa ges. The fea tu re »Call wai ting« is con fi gu red at the con nec ti on
for your fax ma chi ne. If you re cei ve a call at a dif fe rent fax de vi ce at the sa me time, da ta trans fer will be in ter fe red
with, or even dis rup ted com ple te ly by the call wai ting sig nal.
»Call wai ting« is sup pres sed at the ana log port for fax de vi ces to en su re cor rect da ta ex chan ge at all ti mes and to pre -
vent any pos si ble in ter fer en ce sig nal.
You can de fi ne cer tain ty pes of ter mi nal de vi ces for ana log ports in PC Con fi gu ra ti on. As soon as you spe ci fy an dif fe -
rent ty pe of con nec ti on than »Te le pho ne«, e. g.»,Mo dem« or »fax group 3«, the call waiting function will be
deactivated for that connection.
