- When the tender reaches guardrail height, take up the topping lift
so that it passes over the guardrails. (stage 4).
- Turn the tender sideways to bring it towards its stowage position
on the
fl
ybridge.
- Adjust the tender’s position (forward/aft) using the topping lift
(stage 5).
- Carefully lower the tender onto the
fl
ybridge by taking the ten-
sion off the tackle (stage 6).
- Close the aft
fl
ybridge guardrails and re-attach the tackle to its
deck
fi
tting.
- Secure the tender.
Reverse the procedure to launch the tender.
TENDER HOIST (OPTION)
The boat can be
fi
tted with an optional hoist for raising and lowe-
ring a tender into and out of the water.
A tender stowage space is provided on the aft port side of the
fl
ybridge.
Preparing the tender before hoisting:
- Empty the tender of its contents and any water that may sta-
gnate.
- Prepare the lifting slings.
- Raise the motor.
- Prepare the bow and stern control lines.
- Take the tender to the port side of the boat, preferably to
leeward.
Hoisting the tender onto the
fl
ybridge:
- Undo the shackle on the hoisting tackle mounted on the aft deck
of the
fl
ybridge.
- Open the aft
fl
ybridge guardrails.
- Use the topping lift to adjust the boom until it is at 90° to the
mast (stage 1).
- Make fast the topping lift.
- Swing the boom towards the boat’s port side (stage 2).
- Lower the tackle until the tender slings can be reached (stage
3).
- Adjust the slings so that the tender remains level during hoisting,
and hook the tackle onto the slings.
- Make fast the tackle.
- Take three turns around the winch drum, and hoist the tender
and tackle using the handle to turn the winch.
One person must hold the tender painter to keep it in line with
the boat and prevent it rubbing against the hull.

The boom hoist is designed for a maximum
load of 120 kg.

Hoisting and lowering the tender requires
close attention.
Beware of sudden and unexpected move-
ment of the boom and tender as the boat
moves on the sea.

There must be no one aboard the tender du-
ring hoisting.

Two people are needed to recover or launch
the tender using the hoist.
Check that there are no obstacles in the
path of the tender before beginning the pro-
cedure.
