Environment

The device may only be operated at the specified surrounding air
temperature (temperature of the surrounding air at a distance of up to
5 cm (1.97 in) from the device) and relative air humidity specified in the
technical data.



Install the device in a location where the climatic threshold values
specified in the technical data will be observed.



Use the device only in an environment within the pollution degree
specified in the technical data.

Relevant for use in Hazardous Locations (Class 1, Division 2):

This equipment is suitable for use in Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C
and D or Non-Hazardous (unclassified) locations only.

When used in Class 1 Division 2 Hazardous Locations, the following
applies:

CLASS I; DIV. 2
GROUPS A; B; C AND D
TEMPERATURE CODE T4
AMBIENT -30 °C ... +70 °C

This equipmnt must be installed in a tool-locked enclosure when the USB
port will be used.

Warning:

Do not remove or replace while circuit is live unless

the area is known to be free of ignitable concentrations or
flammable substances.
