► Connect further modules in line and fix them hand tight in the

center to the machine bed with screw and washer 2

► Make sure that the marking 1 is once again placed in the center

between two modules

Assembly with vernier caliper

Assembly without alignment gauge [+]

If you don't use an alignment gauge [+], Beckhoff recommends that
you use a vernier caliper for the assembly of the straight modules.

If a vernier caliper is used, the distance from the outer edge of the
first locating pin to the outer edge of the first locating pin in the at-
tached module is 255 mm

► Fix module 1 hand tight with a screw and washer 2

► Checking the distance between the outer edges of the locating

pins with a vernier caliper. It should be 255 mm
