10.1 Messages (Ex and Px type code)
10.1.1 Messages on the display
If a fault occurs, the screen displays an error code beside the water
temperature indicator:
- The “ALARM” pictogram appears
- The audible warning signal sounds.
1
Make a note of the code displayed.
The code is important for the correct and rapid diagnosis of the type of
error and for any technical assistance that may be needed.
2
Switch off and then switch the appliance back on.
The appliance starts up again autonomously when the reason for the
disruption has been cleared.
3
If the code is displayed again, correct the problem by following the
instructions in the table below:
Code
Description
Corrective action
E1
Sensor error T5 (water temperature
sensor)
Check the connection between the sensor and the PCB.
Replace the sensor.
E2
Communication error between the
display and the PCU PCB.
Check the wiring between the display and the PCU PCB.
E4
Evaporator temperature sensor error
T3.
Check the connection between the sensor and the PCB.
E5
Room temperature sensor error T4.
Check the connection between the sensor and the PCB.
E6
Temperature sensor error TP
compressor flow.
Check the connection between the TP sensor and the PCB.
E8
Electrical loss error.
If the PCB induction current circuit
finds a difference in current between
L and N of more than 14 mA, the
system considers this information an
“electrical loss error“.
Check the wiring of the mains electricity supply to the thermodynamic
water heater. (Poor connection, cabled damaged).
E9
Temperature sensor error
TH compressor intake.
Check the connection between the sensor and the PCB.
P8
Open circuit error on the electric
resistor (IEH (difference in current
between ON and OFF on the electric
resistor) < 1 A).
Check that the electric resistor is not damaged or that the cables have
been wrongly connected after a repair.
P2
Protection against high flow
temperatures
Tp > 115....Protection active
Tp < 90....Protection inactive
Check that the compressor is not damaged and that there are no
refrigerant leaks.
Check that the TP and T5 sensors are not damaged.
