6.4 Repairs and service
If you identify errors or defects that cannot be recti fi ed, the ultrasonic homogeniser may no longer
be used.
If this occurs, please contact the supplier or the manufacturer using the enclosed questionnaire.

BANDELIN electronic GmbH & Co. KG apply.
In addition, the ultrasonic homogeniser must be cleaned and decontaminated (if necessary),
see the following chapter.
Caution
• Only allow repairs to be conducted by authorised skilled personnel!
• Before each repair, turn o ff the device and disconnect the plug from the mains!
• Defective parts may only be replaced with original parts.
• The black housing of the ultrasonic converter must not be twisted against the coupling piece to
the sieve. The ultrasonic oscillating system and its electrical connections would be damaged
as a result.
6.4.1 Decontamination certi fi cate
If the ultrasonic homogeniser (with accessories, if applicable) is sent back to the manufacturer,
the form “Certi
fi cate of Decontamination” must be fi lled out and a ffi xed to the packing on
the outside, in a visible spot.
If this form has not been
fi lled out, we reserve the right to refuse receipt of the package in order
to protect our employees.

6.4.2 Software version display
In some cases it may be necessary to inform authorised skilled personnel or the manufacturer of
the software version for the ultrasonic homogeniser.
The software version will be displayed in the menu “Miscellaneous functions and settings”
(see chapter 3.2.3).
