5.9.2 Adjusting KPROP
The KPROP term can be used to reduce following error. Its value will usually be much smaller
than the value used for an equivalent current controlled system. A fractional value, for example
0.1, will probably be a good starting figure which can then be increased slowly.
1. Click in the KPROP box and enter a starting
value of 0.1.
2. Click Go .
The NextMove e 100 will perform the move and the motor will turn. As the soon as the move
is completed, Mint WorkBench will upload captured data from the NextMove e 100. The data
will then be displayed in the Capture window as a graph.
Note: The graph that you see will not look exactly the same as the graph shown here!
Remember that each motor has a different response.
3. Using the check boxes below the graph,
select the Measured position and Demand
position traces.
