10.4 Changing Buckle Position
The Hybrid 3-in-1 is equipped with a 2 - position crotch buckle.
Position - 1 is the installed position from the factory and is
intended to be used until a child reaches 35 lbs or the buckle is
touching the child’s thigh.
Position - 2 is intended to be used until a child’s exceeds 35 lbs
or the buckle is touching the child’s thigh.
a. Thread the padding into
the strap if needed.
b. Thread the metal retainer
and strap through the
fabric and into the position
that fits the child best.
b. From bottom of car
seat, pull the metal
retainer through and
position it properly.
c. From the buckle end of
the strap pull the strap
up to properly click in
the metal retainer.

step c and d.
