10.1 Assembly and Removal of Back Support
Before using your Car Seat in your vehicle, you must assemble
the Back Support and prepare the Car Seat harness straps for
your child.
To assemble Back Support
Method 1:
• Lay the Back Support
flat behind the seat
base but maintain them
side by side (4) . NOTE:
May require folding the
insert towards the seat
base (5) .
• Align both tabs on
bottom of Back Support
with openings in back of
the seat base and press
down firmly (6) .
• Rotate the seat base
upward 90 degrees
while pushing firmly
towards the Back
Support (7).
• Place the seat upright
and tug to check that
the Back Support tabs
are fully inserted into
the seat base openings.
Back Support is applied
correctly only if secure
and stable

• Start by loosening
the Harness Straps
by depressing the
Harness Adjuster and
firmly pulling on the
Harness Straps (1) .
• Undo the chest clip
as illustrated in (2) .
Then release the
Buckle Tongues by
using the Buckle
Release (3) .
