Picking up a Call from the Answering Machine
You can use this function to pick up incoming calls on your
telephone after they have been accepted by the answering
machine at a different extension. The other extension must
be configured as an answering machine in the FRITZ!Box Fon.
To pick up a call from another extension, proceed as follows:
Transferring Calls
The “Call Transfer” function allows you to transfer a connec-
tion from one of FRITZ!Box Fon's extensions to the other. To
do so, proceed as follows:
Consultation / Hold
The “Consultation/Hold” feature allows you to place an ex-
isting call on hold. You then may consult with someone else
at your workplace or dial a second call. The party on hold
does not hear the second conversation. Once you have fin-
ished the consultation, you can return to the original connec-
tion.

Pick up the handset.

Dial the sequence shown at left.
P
The call is now connected to your extension, and
you can talk to the caller.
Call 1
P
You are talking to Caller 1.
R
Press the Hold button. Caller 1 is now on hold.
M
To connect to another internal user, dial her or his
extension number.
Call 2
P
You can now talk with caller 2.
O
To transfer the call with caller 1 to caller 2, simply
hang up the handset.
