Start Computer: Wake on LAN

The properties page for network devices that are connect-
ed with the FRITZ!Box via a network (LAN) port includes
the “Start Computer” button. Use this button to start com-
puters that support Wake on LAN.

With the Wake on LAN function you can start computers in
your FRITZ!Box via the Internet. For instance, you can ac-
cess a computer at any time using remote maintenance
software, without wasting electricity by keeping the com-
puter switched on permanently.
