12) Line up the holes in the shuttle race with the corresponding holes in
each leg and insert the bolts from the front of the race. Attach the
washers and nuts and tighten
only slightly .
13) Center your reed in the slot.

14) Place the Beater Top on the reed so that the groove is facing down
and the cut outs at either end are facing toward the rear of the
loom.
15) Line up the holes in the Beater Top with the slots in each leg and
insert the bolts from the front of the Beater Top. Attach the
washers and nuts and tighten
only slightly .
16) Center the Beater Assembly in the loom.
