Interface Card Problems

Problem Solution
Expansion View does not report the
interface card.
•
Disconnect the interface cable.
•
Check the interface card connector for
bent pins.
•
Make sure that the interface card is prop-
erly seated in the Macintosh.
•
Reinstall the interface cable.
•
Make sure that the NuBus switch settings
match those shown by Expansion View.
•
Make sure that the NuBus cards are in the
correct slots. See the Release Notes for a
list of NuBus cards and revision levels for
various Macintosh and chassis combina-
tions.
•
Power on the system and run Expansion
View. If Expansion View still does not see
the interface card, contact Avid Customer
Support.
