Removing the Power Macintosh 8100 Cover
To remove the Power Macintosh 8100 cover:
1. Loosen the four thumb screws on the rear panel of the Macintosh (see
Figure 11).

2. Face the front of the Macintosh. Press your palms on either side of the cover
and carefully pull the cover forward approximately 1/4 inch.
3. Push in the reset buttons to free them from the cover (see Figure 12). Then lift
the cover up and toward you.

Be very careful as you remove the Macintosh cover. The reset switches are
delicate and will break if you remove the cover incorrectly.
