5. BACK PANEL
POWER:
The QM takes 12VDC @ 400 ma via a DC adapter that plugs in the back of the
QM.
VCR OUT:
The VCR OUT should be connected to the input of the VCR.
VCR:
VCR is the playback / record monitor output. In the record mode it displays the
multiplexed picture output to the VCR, in the playback mode it displays the quad or
full screen playback or the live multiplexed output of the VCR.
VCR IN:
VCR IN should be connected to the output of the VCR and is programmable termi-
nated or unterminated.
MON:
MON can be connected to the input of the call monitor.
VIDEO IN:
Cameras can be connected to QM VIDEO IN connectors and are programmable
terminated or unterminated as a global setting.
LOOP OUT:
Video output of the corresponding camera. Must be programmed for Hi-Z or
unterminated when this option is used to guarantee quality recorded video.
REMOTE CONTROL:
The DB-25 female connector is used for RS-232 communication, alarm input/out-
put and trigger pulse input/output connections. The pin out of Remote Control is
shown in figure 4.
