Loading ODBC database tables from iServer database
To load a list from an ODBC table database:
1. Click
the
Current Database
tab if the database table you are loading
resides in the iServer database. A list of the available tables appears.
2. Select the table name and click
OK
.
3. Follow the instructions below for “Selecting Fields to Load”.
Loading ODBC tables from Other Databases
To load a list from other databases:
1. Click
the
Other Databases
tab if you are loading ODBC tables.
2. Click
Select DB
button. A dropdown window will appear.
3. Enter the DSN,
UID
(user ID),
Password
and
Database
.
4. Click
Test
.
5. Click
Close.
6. You are back at the Load Table window. Click the
“+ “
icon next to the
database name to show all the tables in that database.
7. Select the appropriate table. The table name will appear automatically in the
Table Name field.
8. Click
OK
.
9. Follow the instructions below in the “Selecting Fields to Import” section.
Note:
The data type of all fields in the source table should have an identifiable
information (string format).
