ACD calls. Depending upon the PBX, other phone states
#
may or may not be available for direct calls.
# Special Note:
# The ACD and direct phone rules are general, to handle most
# systems. As a result, they can be confusing. Please ask for
# assistance if you have any problems here.

The standard OLE initialization and registration in a Win32 system may require several
seconds. Neither this time nor the additional system complexity is needed if you are not
using OLE with VTel. The following option, if
OFF
, prevents any OLE registration. Note that
turning this option off after registering (by running) a copy of VTel will cause an error if an
OLE controller application then attempts to assign to the non-OLE VTel. If no entry is
found, OLE functionality is disabled.
OLE
y
# Enable OLE Automation for Win32.
VESPddeSync
y
# Enables use of synchronous Avaya Telephony
# pass-through interface to permit associating
# OLE originated requests and their responses.
In a number of cases, VTel (by default) filters the event information passed to it from the
Telephony Server. For example, VTel.IncomingCall.event contains only call_type and
vdu_id, whereas TS.IncomingCall.event also contains ani, dnis, etc. (precisely what
information it contains is switch dependent).
If the following option is set to
N
, the default is used, and the VTel events return the
couples indicated in
Event notification
on page 83, in the given order.
If this option is set to
Y
, VTel passes through all the couples contained in the following TS
events: BusyOutbound, Conference, Connect, Drop, InCall, IncomingCall, OnHold,
RingOutbound. Note: The couples may be passed through in ANY order.
AllEventCouples
y
# Allow all event couples to be provided

Note:
VTel Telephony servers 3.7 and previous are no longer supported.
AutoIn
n
# Enables AutoIn functionality
PhonePresetAcd

# Causes immediate transition to the desired
# phone state. If AutoIn = y, the PhonePresetACD
