8393 SF/CPU event logging

The 8393 SF/CPU module provides event logging capability to internal RAM and the removable
PCMCIA memory card, but not to internal flash memory. To save log information for a switch
power cycle, you must use the PCMCIA flash memory card.

8394 SF/CPU module

The 8394 SF/CPU module provides two ports for installing 10 Gigabit Small Form Factor

Pluggable (XFP) transceivers. The 10GBASE-R port (10.3 Gb/s LAN PHY) operates in full-

duplex mode.

The 8394 SF/CPU module is a V module.

The following figure shows the 8394 SF/CPU module.
