Green/Steady
The module completed hardware
and software initialization and is
operating normally.
Amber/Steady
The module is booting and initializing
the hardware. If the condition
persists, the steady amber light
indicates that the module failed the
initialization self-test.
Off
The switch power is off. This
condition can also indicate that the
module is not receiving sufficient
power from the switch (for example,
a card fault exists or the card is not
fully plugged in).
8348GB module
The 8348GB module supports standards-based 1000 Mbit/s. Avaya has approved the SFP
transceivers for use in 8348GB module.
The 8348GB module provides 48 1000BASE-X (SFP) ports. You can use the ports on the SFPs
to make riser connections, server attachments, or interswitch links.
The following figure shows the location of the 8348GB module LEDs.
