Creating a custom data table

Issue 3.0 May 2002

4. At the

prompt, type the following pathname:

/usr/informix/bin/isql.

Press

Return.

The INFORMIX logo is displayed, followed by the INFORMIX Main Menu:

Build the table

In INFORMIX, you can select menu items in one of two ways:

●

Use the arrow keys (

→

←

) to move the cursor to the menu option. Then, press

Return.

●

Type the first character of the menu option.

Note:

To escape from a step and go back to the previous step, press

Del

depending on your keyboard.

To build the table:

1. At the INFORMIX Main Menu, select

Table

The

system displays the Select Database

screen.

2. Type

cms

, and press Return.

The system displays the Table menu:
