Adding an Address Book Entry
(Face) Register the image of the face.
(Whole body) Register the image of the whole body.
Family name Register the family name.
Given name Register the given name.
Read last Register “reading” of the family name.

The “reading” is automatically entered
when the family name is entered.
Read first Register “reading” of the given name.
•
The “reading” is automatically entered
when the given name is entered.
Phone number Register the phone number.
Mail Register the mail address.
mixi Register the information of a person
registered in the friend list of mixi.
Twitter Register the information of a person who you
follow on Twitter.
Chat Register the chat address.
Group setting Set the group.
Birthday Register the birthday.
Nickname Register the nickname.
Postal Register the address.
GPS Register the GPS information.
Organization Register the company/part/post.
Website Register the URL.
Memo Register the memo.
Event Register the date.
Internet call Register the address for the internet calling.
Ring Set Set the sound, the lamp and the vibration
when an incoming call is received.
• Tap to display the entry items which are not displayed.
•
Tap / to add/delete the item.
• If the phone number is for a fixed-line phone, enter the phone number
starting with the area code.

If you save multiple phone numbers/mail addresses, tap to change it to
so that you can set the phone number/mail address for usual use.
• Depending on an item, you can change its type. Tap the icon displayed on
the left of the item and select a type. By tapping
Custom
when you change
the type, you can save the entered string as a type.
•
For the chat address type, set the application which is activated when the
operation (on the address book details screen, tap
) is executed.
• If you save the name in the following characters, it is displayed in order of
given name, and family name on the address book.

Half-width alphabet only or half-width alphabet and half-width numeric for
given name and family name

Half-width alphabet only or half-width alphabet and half-width numeric for
family name/Kanji only or Kanji and half-width alphanumeric for given
name
