You are unable to transfer a call to an extension or an extension’s voicemail. A “Call could not be
transferred” message appears.
Your Deskset does not automatically forward a call to another extension.
You are unable to transfer a call to an external phone number.
Probable Cause
Corrective Action
The extension is unavailable.
Check if the destination extension has been
disconnected or deleted from the network.
All the destination extension’s lines may be busy.
If the party you have on hold hangs up, call back
and start the transfer process again.

settings are incorrect.
Check that Call Forward All is on (
FWD

appear in the top right corner of the screen while
in Idle mode).
Ensure that a valid extension number has been
entered as a destination extension.

Ensure that a valid external number is shown in

field. Enter a

if any, that must be dialed first for an external
call.
Ensure that the Gateway is connected to the
network.
All phone lines may be in use. If so, try again later.
