1 Power LED
This LED is on when the
unit is plugged in.
2 Call Agent LED
This LED is on when
the TA is properly
registered with the AT&T
CallVantage
®
Service
network.
3 LAN LED
This LED is on when the
TA is connected to a router
or PC; it fl ashes when the
TA is communicating with
your PC.
4 WAN LED
This LED is on when the
TA is connected to a cable/
DSL modem; it fl ashes
when the TA is communi-
cating with your cable/DSL
modem.
5 Phone 1 LED
This LED is on when a
phone connected to the
Phone1 port is in use;
it fl ashes when the phone
is ringing and is off when
the phone is disconnected
or not in use.
6 Phone 2 LED
This LED is on when a
phone connected to the
Phone2 port is in use;
it fl ashes when the phone
is ringing and is off when
the phone is disconnected
or not in use.
7 Phone Port (VoIP1)
This is the phone port for
your primary telephone
line. Plug in any standard
telephone with tone
(DTMF) dialing capability
into this port. For informa-
tion on how to extend your
service to jacks throughout
your home, see Trouble-
shooting page 30.
8 Phone Port (VoIP2)
If you signed up for
a second phone line
with AT&T CallVantage
Service, this is the port
for that line. Plug any
standard telephone into
this port. For information
on how to extend
your service to jacks
throughout your home, see
Troubleshooting, page 30.
9 WAN Port
Connect an Ethernet
cable to your cable or DSL
modem.
10 LAN Port
Connect an Ethernet cable
to your PC or home router.
11 Reset Button
To reset the TA to its
factory default settings
(i.e. perform a “hard
reset”): unplug TA from
power outlet, insert paper
clip into reset button and
HOLD while powering
up TA, then continue to
HOLD for 10 seconds and
then release.
