Grease Tensioner
Removal
1. Perform the track removal procedure on pages 4-
10 and 4-11 of this manual to remove the track
from the undercarriage.
2. Remove the bolt securing the rear of the grease
tensioner to the rail as shown. (fig. 12-22)
3. Use a plastic or rubber hammer to drive the
assembly out of the rail through the front as
shown. (fig. 12-23)
4. Once the tensioner assembly is free, remove it
from the machine out the front of the rail as
shown. (fig. 12-24)
5. Remove the wheel and axle from the assembly as
shown. (fig. 12-25)
6. Remove the grease tensioner from the assembly
as shown. (fig. 12-26)
Installation
1. To install the grease tensioner, reverse the
removal procedure.
