pilot fl ame pattern. The incorrect pilot fl ame is not
touching the thermocouple. This will cause the
thermocouple to cool. When the thermocouple
cools, the heater will shut down.

NOTE
: The pilot fl ame on natural gas units will have
a slight curve, but fl ame should be blue and have
no yellow or orange color.

SWITCHING ON
To turn the system on, press the Burner ON/OFF
switch to the ON position

Once the start up process is complete, the main
burner and pilot will be lit.
REGULATING THE FLAME LEVEL.
1. To decrease the fl ame level to low, press the
Hi-Low switch to the ON position.
2. To increase to high fl ame level, press the
Hi-Low switch to the OFF position.
NOTE
: If the appliance is set to the low fl ame level
and turned off, it will light on high fl ame level and
then cycle to low fl ame level on the next fl ame
sequence.
WARNING: Do not convert
heater to use different fuel type.
Only use heater with fuel type
specifi ed.
SWITCHING OFF
To switch off the fi re, press the Burner ON/OFF Switch
to the OFF position.
