5.2.4 Cleaning spray heads filter holder

Use the special brush supplied.

of the dispensing unit so as
to eliminate any accumulated
coffee residues.
5.2.5 Cleaning the steam nozzle
Weekly
Clean the steam nozzle.
• Insert the steam nozzle into a jug with water and a specif -
ic cleaner, in accordance with the manufacturer's instruc-
tions.
• Heat the solution with the steam of the nozzle.
• Let the nozzle cool down whilst keeping it immersed in the
solution for at least 5 minutes, so that the cleaner can rise
inside the nozzle due to the cooling effect.
• Repeat the operation 2 or 3 times until no more milk resi -
due is dispensed.
6. DISPOSAL
INFORMATION FOR USERS
In accordance with the article in Legislative De-
cree no. 15 of July 25th, “Implementation of the
2002/95/EC, 2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC Directives rela-
tive to the reduction in the use of hazardous substances in
electrical and electronic equipment, as well as the disposal
of the waste”.
The crossed-out bin symbol shown on the appliance indicates
that at the end of its useful life the product must be disposed
of separately from other waste.
When the appliance reaches the end of its life, the user must,
therefore, take it to a suitable electronic and electrical waste
collection centre, or return it to the retailer when purchasing
a new equivalent replacement appliance, on a one-for-one
basis.
Appropriate procedures for separate collection - to have the
decommissioned appliance recycled, processed and finally
disposed of in an environmentally-friendly manner - help
avoid potential undesirable consequences for the environ-
ment and for health, whilst enabling the materials of which
the appliance is made to be recycled.
Illegal disposal by the user renders them liable to the admin -
istrative penalties provided for under Legislative Decree no.
22/1997 (article 50 et seq. of Legislative Decree no. 22/1997).
