2. Use a small, flat-bladed screwdriver to press the retaining clip on the battery holder 

and disengage the battery. 

 

3. Remove the battery from its socket, taking care to note the orientation of the “+” 

and “-” signs on it . 

4. Position the new battery in the socket so that its “+” and “-” signs are in the same 

orientation as the previous battery’s. 

5. Press the new battery securely into the socket. 
6. Follow the instructions on page 42 to replace the system cover
