Target Audience and Structure of the System Manual HBT_20321104_00/B0_en

Part 5: Configuration

Part 5 explains how to configure a system efficiently and implement the charac-
teristics specific to the customer. The practical description of the configuration
processes takes account of the different requirements of the system variants.

The AIMS Managers provide support with the configuration. With their help you
can configure the system and customer data, and specify the access concept for
authorization. The AIMS menu tree and the parameter index contain all the
parameters. The menu tree also contains the relevant authorization for each
menu item. At the end you will find instructions for selecting the initialization val-
ues.

Part 6: Commissioning

Before commissioning and handing over the system to the customer, a check is
carried out to see whether the system complies with the project specifications,
and whether it is operating correctly. Part 6 lists the general tests and function
tests for the technical commissioning.

Once the system has been successfully put into operation the features and char-
acteristics of the system are presented and explained to the customer. The second
part of this part looks at how customers are initiated to the operation of the sys-
tem and how special customer needs can be taken into account in the customer
training.

The checklist at the end of Part 6 provides assistance with the smooth and proper
handover of the system.
