6.4 Back Panel (Current Driver End Stage Unit)

6.4.1 Communication
This receptacle connects the communication lines to the current driver end stage head. The
connector is key coded to prevent insertion in the wrong direction. The red marks on the
connector and the receptacle must be aligned in order to insert the connector.
6.4.2 Power
This receptacle connects the DC power input to the current driver end stage head. The
connector is key coded to prevent insertion in the wrong direction. The red marks on the
connector and the receptacle must be aligned in order to insert the connector.
6.4.3 Monitor Out
This BNC receptacle may be used to monitor the current pulses in real time. The cable
connected to this receptacle must be terminated in 50
Ω
in order to show the true shape of the
current pulse.
