Min:
Input an integer and select the units (mA, A) from the dropdown box in
order to set the minimum current of the current pulse sequence to be
driven. In pulse mode this is the constant current amplitude. In the case of
an invalid input, the number entered will automatically be limited to the
maximum allowed by the unit or the selected current limit (see below).
NOTICE!
Note that the current strength selected is critical!
The pulse current may be large enough to damage or destroy the laser.
Max:
Input an integer and select the units (mA, A) from the dropdown box in
order to set the maximum current of the current pulse sequence to be
driven. This field is only active in serial or parallel sweep mode. In the
case of an invalid input, the number entered will automatically be limited
to the maximum allowed by the unit or the selected current limit (see
below).
NOTICE!

Steps:
Enter an integer number of steps. In serial or parallel sweep mode, the
driver will sweep the current from “Min” to “Max” in an equidistant
number of current steps.
Bias:
Input an integer and select the units (mA, A) from the dropdown box in
order to set the bias current. In the case of an invalid input, the number
entered will automatically be limited to the maximum bias current allowed
by the unit.
Set current limit: After clicking this button, a pop-up box will appear. Enter the limiting
current for the present situation. This value must be less than or equal to
the maximum current available for the system. This is a safety feature to
allow the unit to be used to safely drive lasers which might otherwise be
damaged by currents at the maximum drive capability of the unit.
