To extend the mattress platform:
Lift the blue extension catch bar (

) and hold the middle of the
end crossbar (

), then pull out the mattress platform to the
required position. Release the catch bar.

To shorten the bed:
Reverse the above procedure.
WARNING
Take care not to pinch your fingers when lifting the catch bar.
WARNING
After extending the mattress platform make sure the calf extension
sheet is clipped over the end of the mattress platform frame.
