Standard CMOS Features
When you choose the Standard CMOS Features option from the Initial Setup Screen menu, the
screen shown below is displayed. This standard Setup Menu allows users to configure system
components such as date, time, hard disk drive, floppy drive and display. Once a field is highlighted,
on-line help information is displayed on the right of the Menu screen.
Date and Time
The Date and Time items show the current date and time on the computer. If you are running a
Windows OS, these items are automatically updated whenever you make changes to the Windows
Date and Time Properties utility.
SATA Devices
This motherboard features two SATA connectors supporting two SATA drives. SATA refers to Serial
ATA (Advanced Technology Attachment), the standard interface for the IDE hard drives which are
currently used in most PCs.
