ARGUS Copper Box

Example measurements:

In this example, a capacitance of approx.
86.51 nF is measured between the

sockets Tip/Ring.

Ideally, the line should be in capacitive
balance. However, if the capacitance
between Tip and Ground and between
Ring and Ground differ by more than

2-3 %, this can indicate an asymmetry.
You can investigate this hypothesis by
measuring the symmetry (see Chapter 8),
which delivers a much more accurate
determination of symmetry.
