PUMP MAINTENANCE
Do not do any maintenance with the trolley running or with chemicals still in its circuit.
10.1
CHECKING/REPLACING THE INTAKE/DELIVERY VALVES
AR DUE, AR 202, AR 252 – Unscrew the valves (32) counterclockwise and remove them. Check that the valves
are clean and not worn - replace them if necessary. Check the gaskets (33) and replace them if necessary. Refit the
valves (32) and screw them into the heads (30) clockwise.
AR 30, AR 50 – Undo the two nuts (37) and remove the intake/delivery line (36). Check that the valves (32) are
clean and not worn. Replace them if necessary. Check the gaskets (33) and replace them if necessary. Fit the
valves (32) back in their seats. Fit the intake/delivery line (36) and secure it with the nuts (37).
AR 303, AR 403, AR 503 – Unscrew the bolts (35) and remove the valve cover (34). Check that the valves (32)
are clean and not worn. Replace them if necessary. Check the gaskets (33) and replace them if necessary. Fit the
valves back in their seats. Fit the valve cover (34) and secure it with the bolts (35). Repeat for all covers.
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
High pump running noise and evi-
dent drop in oil reservoir level.
Filter soiled or intake circuit partly
blocked.
Check that the intake filter cartridge
(2) is clean and check the intake cir-
cuit (3).
The oil in the pump's reservoir has
turned white.
Evident drop in the oil level in the reser-
voir and oil in the tank.
The pump's oil reservoir plug has been
forced out.
One or more pump diaphragms
is damaged. Stop the trolley im-
mediately.
Replace the damaged diaphragms
(44).
