Care and maintenance
CAUTION! OBSERVE THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS!
The operator may not undertake any service or maintenance to this device and its compo-
nents, other than those specified and described in this Chapter.
Only service engineers from Analytik Jena AG, or technical personnel authorized by Analytik
Jena AG may carry out repairs to the contrAA 600.
Please observe all guidelines, norms and safety instructions when undertaking any mainte-
nance work as specified in Chapter "Safety instructions" p.6.
To guarantee perfect and safe functioning, the contrAA 600 should be inspected on an
annual basis by service engineers from Analytik Jena AG.
Only use Analytik Jena AG spare parts. Parts required for routine operation can be ordered
from Analytik Jena AG.
WARNING! ELECTRIC SHOCK!
The contrAA 600 must be switched off before carrying out any service work, the mains plug
must be pulled out. The safe disconnection of the contrAA 600 from the mains can only be
achieved by pulling out the mains plug. Power is still supplied to certain areas of the spec-
trometer, as well as the output socket, after the device has been switched off at the main
switch.
