Operation
Electroluminescent Touch Panels
The ^ character (Shift+6) is used to identify non-printable character codes. Examples
include the carriage return and line feed codes. They are the hexadecimal characters
$OD and $OA and would be entered with the Touch Panel keyboard as ^OD and
^OA.
BAUD
sets the RS-232 data rate you need for communications with your computer
or other RS-232 device. Selection range if from 300 baud to 38,400 baud (38.4K).
EDITOR
puts the Touch Panel in Editor mode. Press EDITOR, then EXIT. You can
change pages, create new pages, select special Touch Panel icons, and perform
Touch Panel system functions from the editor menu options. Editor functions are
described in the following entries.
Editor Mode
Figure 8 shows how the page appears when you enter the EDITOR. The EDITOR
BAR is
displayed on each selected page. Touch the button on the bar to select the
menu options for the EDITOR function.

Button Editing
When you touch the BUTTON menu selection button, the page shown in Figure 9
will appear. Touch the menu option you need for the function you want to perform.
The message bar indicates the currently selected page.
